Epic Games has secured the creative talent of iconic comic book illustrator Jim Lee for its Gears of War #9 comic book from DC Comics’ WildStorm imprint. Autodesk Joins Epic’s Integrated Partners Program - December 16, 2008

Autodesk has become a member of Epic’s Integrated Partners Program (IPP), and Autodesk HumanIK is now integrated with Unreal Engine 3. Kynapse artificial intelligence middleware was also previously integrated with UE3. Publishers and developers licensing UE3 now have access to a production-ready solution for dynamic in-game character animation, as well as 3D navigation and spatial reasoning. “Believable characters have lifelike movement and can navigate their environments intelligently. TriForce to Create 1:1 Scale Gears of War Armor and Weaponry - May 29, 2008

TriForce Sales has acquired the license from Epic Games to produce 1:1 scale replicas of the weapons and armor from the Gears of War universe. TriForce has partnered with master sculptor Sid Garrand of Nightmare Armor Studios to recreate the gear worn by Delta Squad of the Coalition of Ordered Governments. Fans will have a chance to order their own C.O.G. Armor, C.O.G. helmet and the Lancer Assault Rifle, replicas created from designs based on images of Delta Squad, led by game hero Marcus Fenix. Electronic Arts Boldly Increases Commitment to Unreal Engine 3 - April 8, 2008

Namco Hometek Inc. Licenses Unreal Engine 3 for Frame City Killer on XBOX 360 - May 11th, 2005

Leading video games publisher and developer Namco Hometek Inc. announced today "Frame City Killer," a next-generation action game for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. NCsoft Licenses Unreal Engine 3 - May 11th, 2005

NCsoft, the world's leading developer and publisher of online computer games, today announced that they have licensed Unreal Engine 3. NCsoft used Epic's previous Unreal Engine technology for the hugely success Lineage II massively multiplayer online role-playing game. Epic Games Purchases Reality Engine, hires creator Tim Johnson - May 11th, 2005

Epic Games today announced that it has purchase the Reality Engine from Artifical Studios and hired it's founder, and lead engine programmer, Tim Johnson. Tim will join the Unreal Engine 3 team effective immediately and travel with Epic to E3 next week. Silicon Knights to Exclusively Use Unreal Engine 3 - May 10th, 2005

In a story broken by IGN.com it was announced today that Unreal Engine 3 will be used exclusively in all next-generation games developed by Silicon Knights, "creators of award winning titles such as Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes". Silicon Knights says that "Unreal Engine 3 is by far the best technology for next generation systems". America's Army Licenses Unreal Engine 3 - May 10th, 2005

The U.S. Army today announced that it has licensed Unreal Engine 3 for the next generation versions of America's Army.
