BioWare Licenses Unreal Engine 3 - September 16th, 2004

Edmonton - September 16, 2004 - Award-winning game developer BioWare Corp. announced today that they have licensed Unreal Engine 3 game engine technology from Epic Games. The agreement marks the first time the two companies have collaborated, combining the talents of the premier RPG developer with the premier next-generation engine technology creators. Midway Publishing Agreement - July 28th, 2004

CHICAGO - JULY 28, 2004 - Midway Games Inc. (NYSE: MWY), a leading developer and publisher of interactive entertainment software, today announced a multi-year, multi-product agreement with Epic Games to publish three new videogames based on the popular Unreal® franchise. The agreement marks Midway's entrance into the premium PC games sector with a property that has sold more than seven million units worldwide and generated nearly $200 million in revenue at retail since the introduction of Unreal Tournament in 1999.   Unreal Tournament 2004 ships! - Mar 16, 2004


Unreal Tournament 2004 starts arriving in stores this week and features all new Onslaught and Assault modes plus much, much more. GameSpy gives UT2004 5 out of 5 in their review and calls the game "a monster that could dominate multiplayer gaming for the rest of 2004." IGN PC gives it 9.4 out of 10 and says that "Unreal Tournament 2004 is set to make a thunderous impact as big as (or bigger) than the one caused by the original Unreal Tournament". GameSpot also gives UT2004 a 9.4/10 rating - the highest PC game review they've given in 5 years! The last one was the original Unreal Tournament in 1999!
