Gears 3 Retro Lancer Replica Pre-order Bundles Available

The new NECA Gears of War 3 Retro Lancer replica is now available in several pre-order bundle options at Gamestop, including:

Gears of War 3

Gears of War 3 Limited Edition

Gears of War 3 Epic Edition

Of course you can always purchase the stand alone Retro Lancer as well, available 9/13.

Dubbed the Retro Lancer during the Lambent Invasion, the Pendulum Wars Lancer Assault Rifle was the preceding model to the Lancer Assault Rifle. Used primarily in the Pendulum Wars as the COG soldier’s primary choice weapon, it was abandoned about a year after Emergence Day because the weapon was ineffective to the Locust Horde’s fighting tactics. However, following the Sinking of Jacinto when supplies started becoming sparse, the Retro Lancer started cropping up in fighting forces once again

       Too bad it doesn’t have regular lancer, a regular bayonet is cliché. A chainsaw just screams “LIKE A BOSS!”.

        no, its a new pre-order. click on the yellow link for more information, but basically, they have 6 editions now. regular, limited, epic editions and now regular + retro, Limited + retro, and Epic + Retro..

          Sorry, ON LINE OFFER ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called my local game stop and they said is a online offer through game stop. You can order the lancer as a stand alone item, but the retro lancer bundle is offer only on line. That sucks I know. Good thing I called. I pre-order the epic as well.

      I am so changing my pre-order….  I pre-ordered the epic edition months before the contents were announced (I’m a hardcore gears fan) and just paid it off $20 at a time so no biggie. If i keep paying it this way it’ll be paid off again by the release date ^-^

          actually the full story is that it wouldn’t pierce locust skin very well and it broke when it did.  the chainsaw came along after tai rigged one on his lancer and it was discovered to be much more effective

      I went to gamestop to buy this and the bundle for $230 which is on their website was not in the stores computers yet. He said all I could do was buy the gun for $100 and the epic edition for $150 seperately. When is this going to be in their computers?

       Not to be the one to talk this down at all, BUT if the manufacturers have not as of now began to make this product already, Epic, please consider making the lancer just a TAD bit longer? in the Beta, the Retro lancer when on the back of a character reached from mid head to almost knee length… I’m not looking for exact measurements, but would be very pleasantly surprised if it looked a bit more to that length ( ~4 ft. ) but If not, the length is fine and I’m excited to waste my money on this game 😉

        It’s stronger, but slower and less precise than the Chainsaw Lancer, also the ammo capacity is minor, besides the clip capacity.

      the $230 deal is not really a deal bc they charge tax and shipping. My total came out to $260.73. I had a pre-order of epic edition at amazon for $149.99 (no tax and free shipping), and the gun by it self sells for $99.99 (plus tax would be like $106)…so really the $20 off is not a good deal…I really wish you could buy the bundle in stores with the deals to avoid shipping costs…

      that is why I love amazon and never shop at gamestop (also i dont like to buy games that have a sticker on them that say new when they are used games)…but since the guns is exclusive i had to shop at gamestop
