Q: If I play with different teammates in different weeks, do my Series Points carry over?
A: No. Each team must consist of the same three players for Series Points to carry over. Each team of three players is unique, and holds Series Points based on that original team of three players. Changing any member of the team creates a new unique team, which begins at 0 Series Points.
Q: A team in my region has qualified in a previous week. The same team finished in the auto qualification spots on an additional week. Does that mean that the auto qualification spot goes to the next highest ranked team on that week’s leaderboard?
A: No. Prizes and Series Points are awarded to the already-qualified team based on final placement. However, the auto qualification spot for that week is removed, and instead added to the final count to be pulled from the Series Points Leaderboard at the end of the 5th week.
Q: When does the tournament start each week?
A: It depends based on server region. All start times will be listed within the Compete tab in game.
Q: How do Trades work?
A: Teams who have qualified for the Season Finals may perform a one-time trade of one of their players with another single player from a different team that has also qualified for the Season Finals within the same region. This trade must occur before the trade deadline prior to the start of the Group Stage on September 17, 2019 at 11:00 PM EST. All six (6) involved players must unanimously agree and request the trade by contacting an Event Administrator, reachable via email at email@example.com.
Q: I’m unable to queue for the event. Can you help?
A: Make sure all members of your team are ranked in Champion League, partied together, and have Two Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled. You can do so by following this guide: https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/news/2fa
We’ve also seen that remaking the party with a different party leader fixes some rare occurrences where a team is unable to queue.
