Attendees:

Q: I have tickets to the Fortnite World Cup Finals and want to bring my family. Are there any age restrictions?
A: Yes, anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is also in possession of his/her own ticket. Additionally, children aged 12 years or younger are not allowed to enter the venue.

Q: I bought my ticket but don't have it yet. What’s wrong?
A: Tickets will be delivered digitally at a later date closer to the event.

Q - I bought a ticket; do I need anything else to get into the venue?
A – Your World Cup ticket alone doesn’t suffice and won’t allow you entrance into the venue. You will need a ticket and your registered RFID band to enter.

Q: I bought my ticket from a site other than Ticketmaster. Is it a real ticket?
A: Ticketmaster is the only authorised vendor for tickets to the Fortnite World Cup Finals.  Tickets are only delivered to the original Ticketmaster purchaser. In the event of any issues, Epic will work with Ticketmaster to try to resolve such issues directly with the original purchaser.

Q: My ticket includes V-Bucks and the Season 10 Battle Pass. How do I receive those?
A: Everyone who attends the event will receive a code that can be applied to his/her Epic account to redeem the V-Bucks and Season 10 Battle Pass. The codes will be physically distributed at the event and will be limited to one code per attendee. Note: the Season 10 Battle Pass will become active with the Season 10 launch and not immediately upon receiving the code.

Q: If I have sensitivities to light and sound, will this event have uncomfortable light sequences or audio levels?
A: The Fortnite World Cup Finals will feature a stage with coordinated lighting which may affect attendees who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or other photo sensitivities.  Additionally, the sound design for the event will reach limits which may affect attendees who have sensitivity to sound. Given these conditions, it is strongly advised that each attendee take all necessary precautions and measures prior to and during the event.

Q - What is the RFID band?
A - The "RFID band" is a wearable bracelet embedded with a "radio-frequency identification" chip - the exact same technology used for hotel room key cards. Once you’re wearing it, you'll gain entrance into the event and be able to track your progress at many of the activities throughout the venue.

Q – How do I register my RFID band
A –Two weeks prior to the event, an email will be sent to the email address that you entered when you purchased the ticket from Ticketmaster.com (the official ticket seller of the Fortnite World Cup Finals). In this email, you will be asked to register the ticket/tickets in your name and in the names of the people who are attending the show with you. You will need to input the name and email for each of the individuals attending. This will allow you to receive Fan Festival Battle Pass updates, and redeem exclusive content that is unique to the event and cannot be received anywhere else. PLEASE NOTE: You will need to show your mobile ticket AND your purchase confirmation email to begin the registration process OR the confirmation page stating that you already registered your wristband.

Q – Where is my RFID band?
A –RFID bands will not be mailed. You will be required to pick up your RFID band in person the day before the event on July 25, 2019 OR the days of the event on July 26th, 27th, and 28th. The purchaser of the ticket must be present when you pick up the RFID band/bands.

Q – When can I pick up my RFID band?
A –You can pick up your RFID band the day before the event on July 25, 2019 from 11:00am-6:00pm OR starting two hours before the days of competition on Friday, July 26th, 27th, and 28th. It is strongly encouraged that you pick up your RFID band earlier so that you do not miss any opportunity to be the first to see the festival and pre-show events and skip the line!

Q – Where do I pick up my RFID band?
A –When you arrive at the USTA Center, you will be directed to the RFID Redemption and Registration Tents. These will be outside of the venue and it’s mandatory you visit them in order to access the stadium.

Q – What will be required of me when I pick up the RFID band?
A – You will need to show your mobile ticket and your purchase confirmation email from Ticketmaster when picking up your RFID band.

Q – On the day of the event, if I have already registered my RFID band and picked it up, where do I go?
A – When you arrive at the USTA Center, you will be asked to present your mobile ticket and your RFID band at the entry gate into the event. You will have both scanned and then you can enjoy all the festivities!

Q – I was given the tickets as a gift and that person will not be attending the event, what do I do?
A- You will need to obtain the original purchase email confirmation, as well as make sure they register and send you the RFID wristband.

Competitors:

Q: Can I use multiple accounts to play in multiple regions in a single week’s Online Open?
A: No, this is against the 2019 Fortnite World Cup Online Open Official Rules (“Official Rules”), a copy of which can be found here: https://cdn2.unrealengine.com/Fortnite+Esports%2Fevents%2Fworld-cup%2Fworldcup-landing%2FRules%2FWorld-Cup-Online-Opens-Official-Rules-85fdb9049cde7fa021cb81126e25d24ded69733a.pdf

Q: If someone qualifies for the Fortnite World Cup Finals, are they allowed to keep playing in future Online Open weekly competitions?
A: Yes. Qualified players can continue to play for weekly cash prizes. If an already-qualified player qualifies, then that qualification will be passed down to the next highest ranking person on the leaderboard who hasn't qualified yet.
Note: Weekly cash prizes do not change if a qualified placement is passed down.

Q: I am under 18. Will Epic pay for a parent or guardian to accompany me to New York if I qualify for the Fortnite World Cup Finals?
A: Yes. Subject to certain restrictions, Epic will cover the costs of travel for a single +1 parent or guardian for any underage player who manages to qualify for the Fortnite World Cup Finals.

Q: I do not live in the U.S. Will Epic help with acquiring a U.S. visa if I qualify?
A: Yes. If requested, Epic will provide non-U.S. qualifying players with a written confirmation of such players’ Fortnite World Cup Finals qualification for use in connection with U.S. visa applications. All necessary travel documents such as a passport and/or visa are ultimately the sole responsibility of each qualifying player.

Q: When should I expect to receive my prize if I place in the leaderboard as listed in the Official Rules?
A: Epic will work as fast as possible to ensure you receive your prize in a timely manner. Stay tuned to your email inbox for updates. The typical turnaround time is around 1-3 months as we internally verify potential winners and confirm submitted tax and other payment information. To prevent delays, it’s very important that potential winners provide complete and correct information.

Q: Will there be more opportunities to compete in Fortnite after the Online Opens end?
A: Yes! We will continue to have new tournaments every week with prizes available throughout 2019.

Q: I scored points during a match after being eliminated, why did these points disappear after I returned to lobby?
A: Players are unable to earn points while eliminated. This is intentional. The points shown on the in-game leaderboard are the correct values.
