    Fan Made Content SubForum Guidelines
    • Hello fellow commanders!
      • My name is Davethebuck and I'm the community leader for the Fan Made Content subforum. I'm super excited to see the awesome content that you guys come up with! Use this space to share your cool projects and gain inspiration from others.
    • Forum Vision
      • Let’s make some cool stuff together! Share your screenshots, cosplay, sketches, and more here. Feel free to create away! I don't want to limit the scope of the content of this forum too much, but there is going to be some overlap with lore, guides, etc. with some of the other subforums, so be mindful of where the best place is to start a topic. We are working on making it more clear where to post and find certain types of content, more details later!
Make sure to read the overall forums guidelines below before posting anything, let’s make this community a great place together. Go build a fort and fight some husks, maybe even nab some cool screenshots!

    General Forum Guidelines
    • The Fortnite forums are for discussion of topics directly related to Fortnite.
      • The forums here are specifically to discuss the game and related topics. Any topics not related to Fortnite, Epic Games, or its community are subject to moderation.
    • Vulgarity, Negativity and Threats
      • Excessive vulgarity is frowned upon and is subject to moderation. Excessive negativity and fear mongering is frowned upon and is subject to moderation. Any threats to a member of our community, Epic Games as a company or an Epic Games Employee will be removed, and in extreme cases we will contact the appropriate authorities.
    • Creating a thread topic that calls out a member of the Epic Games community or an Epic Games employee in a thread topic is frowned upon.
      • Discussion should be focused around game related subjects. Starting a discussion about an individual violates this guideline and is subject to moderation.
    • Petition posts are frowned upon.
      • These are discussion forums and, as such, we ask that you hold discussions. Creating a thread to ask for replies as votes is not a discussion. Threads violating this guideline are subject to moderation.
    • Do not post about locked or deleted threads.
      • Each post that is moderated has a reason behind it. We will do our best to fully explain why an action has been taken. From that point, It's up to you to read the forum guidelines and determine what you did wrong. You may post again, but make sure you do not violate any of the forum guidelines.
    • Take personal arguments off the forums
      • No one wants their thread to turn into a personal argument between a few individuals. If you disagree with someone in a constructive and on-topic way, then your post is totally acceptable. If your comment is directed at putting down another individual, the post is subject to moderation.
    • Hate Speech
      • We have a zero-tolerance policy on personal attacks directed at any person or group of people on the basis of gender, religion, race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. These posts will be immediately removed. You are subject to suspension/permanent ban based on the severity of the comment.
    • Don't post in all capital letters, use a misleading title, excessive punctuation, and/or non-standard symbols, etc.
      • We ask you to refrain from using these types of tactics in order to bring more people to your thread. If you have a good idea, or engaging topic of discussion, people will naturally participate in your thread. Threads violating this guideline are subject to moderation.
    • Posting "First" or IBTL ("in before lock") constitutes as spamming.
      • Commenting IBTL adds nothing to a discussion and is not a helpful way of determining if a topic is constructive or not. If you feel a thread should be moderated please use the rating button to do so or reach out to a community leader/community team member.
    • Bumping a thread
      • This is generally frowned upon. Please don't bump your thread.
    • Off Topic
      • We will be actively moderating and moving threads, comments and posts that are off topic.
