How to make Fortnite great again. ( Ideas ) Nerfs & Buffs

    How to make Fortnite great again. ( Ideas ) Nerfs & Buffs

    At the moment as you know they have been adding new SMGs to the game.
    First, they added the Drum Gun wich people would take over as their Assult Rifle for medium / close range.
    Then, they added the new Submachine Gun,
    and after that, they added the new P90 to the game and changed wood starting hp from 100 to 80.
    These 3 guns are really powerful and used with a shotgun. If you fight someone with a drum gun or any other of these SMGs you will most likely die cause,
    you won't be able to out-build the gun since its gonna easily destroy the wall cause of the nerf.
    After adding these new guns they made the game less skill-based. Before the v4.5 update, there were other combos you can do such as:

    [] Pump & Pump
    [] Pump & Tactical
    [] Pump & SMG
    [] Tactical & SMG
    [] Heavy & Tactical
    [] and much more.


    Now what people do is have:

    [] Drum gun as an assault rifle cause its easier to use and has a bigger Magzine Size.
    [] SMG as a shotgun ( cause you can't outbuild an SMG and it takes less skill to use it since you have to just hold it and shotguns do no damage anymore )

    What people do now is pretty much "spray". Before the v4.5 patch, it was a skill to use shotguns cause it takes practice and skill to get good at shotguns but now people just spray with SMGs cause
    shotguns do no damage and its easy to use an automatic gun.


    What they should do ( Nerfs & Buffs ) :
    -[ nerf SMGs ]-





    1. Nerf the Drum Gun Magazine Size from 50 to 40,
    Change the damage of the Drum Gun:
    ( uncommon / green ) body shot from 26 to 23, a headshot from 52 to 47, reload from 3,2s to 3,8s (making players have more time to build)
    ( rare / blue ) body shot from 27 to 24, a headshot from 54 to 48, reload from 3s to 3,6s.

    2. Nerf the Compact Gun aka P90 Magzine size from 50 to 40.
    Nerf the Compact Gun damage:
    ( epic / purple ) body shot from 21 to 19, a headshot from 42 to 37.
    ( legendary / orange) body shot from 22 to 20, a headshot from 44 to 38.

    3. Nerf the Submachine Gun damage:
    ( common / gray) body shot from 22 to 20, a headshot from 44 to 39.
    ( uncommon / green ) body shot from 23 to 21, a headshot from 46 to 40.
    ( rare / blue ) body shot from 24 to 22, a headshot from 48 to 41.

    -[ buff Shotguns ]-





    4. Buff the Pump Shotgun damage:
    ( uncommon / green ) body shot from 80 to 87, a headshot from 160 to 175.
    ( rare / blue ) body shot from 85 to 92, a headshot from 170 to 185.

    5. Buff the Tactical Shotgun damage:
    ( common / gray) body shot from 67 to 70, a headshot from 134 to 139.
    ( uncommon / green ) body shot from 70 to 75, a headshot from 140 to 150.
    ( rare / blue ) body shot from 74 to 80, a headshot from 148 to 155.

    -[ nerf Explosives ]-




    6. Nerf the RPG damage:
    ( rare / blue ) body shot from 110 to 90.
    ( epic / purple ) body shot from 116 to 95.
    ( legendary / orange) body shot from 121 to 100.


    7. Nerf the Granade Launcher damage:
    ( rare / blue ) body shot from 100 to 90.
    ( epic / purple ) body shot from 105 to 95.
    ( legendary / orange) body shot from 110 to 100.


    -[ nerf LMG ]-




    8. Nerf the Minigun damage:
    ( epic / purple ) body shot from 18 to 15, a headshot from 45 to 39.
    ( legendary / orange) body shot from 19 to 17, a headshot from 47,5 to 42.



    These changes are gonna increase the damage and usage of a shotgun and decrease the damage of an SMG and other overpowered weapons.

    Hey man I really like your idea and hope it could be implemented but the only part I disagree with is the lmgs and explosives because nobody really uses minigun and nobody would definitely use it if it gets nerfed. And the explosives ammo is hard to get imagine it did less damage they wouldn't be worth carrying. I dont use most of these weapons but many people do and the playfield must be fair for everyone. But still nice idea man

      Missed the OP combo of Heavy + Heavy. It was on par with double pump before the damage nerf.

      I like the Drum / P90 nerfs except for the reload speed. With the damage decrease, I don't know if that reload speed would make them worthless or not. Bringing it below 25 damage per shot increases the amount shots to kill. As for the headshot multiplier, it's 2x. Shouldn't have an odd multiplier.
      The "SMG" you're talking about is the Silent SMG. Got confused at the damage values. That gun isn't used too often. Bringing the damage down doesn't change too much either. It's already below the 25 damage point. Like before, headshot multiplier should be 2x.

      I don't believe shotguns should have a base damage increase. Look at the double barrel right now. It's worth more to shoot them in the body for 143+ instead of a headshot where a good portion of pellets will miss. Headshots are harder and should be rewarded more. Changing the pump headshot multiplier to 2.5x will make it a worthwhile gun that requires precise aiming to deal a lot of damage.

      Explosive nerf would be a massive change. You're going to 2 shots to kill to 3 for 2 rarities. I'd love that, but could see a lot of complaints from people.

      Minigun doesn't need a nerf. It's annoying, but that's all. Fighting a minigun 1v1 is pretty simple. Fighting 1v2 is difficult to impossible, if you allow them to live. Running a minigun comes with a large risk while shooting, unlike the SMGs.
      Actually, lowering the headshot multiplier to the normal 2x might be good. It's more of an anti-building weapon than a killing weapon, and there's no damage fall off.

        I agree with everything except for the rpgs. They do need a nerf for sure, but not that extreme. Also, the new shotgun kind of brings back a reason to use shotguns, even though you need to be really close by.
