Make old Battle Passes available for purchase.

After maxing out the tiers and costumes of a Battle Pass for that season I kind of lose interest in the game a little until the next season. The game is fun, but I'm an achievement/challenge hound, and love to unlock things. Also I didn't hear about the game until last season. I would love it if for Season Six, after reaching tier 100 for that season, I could also buy the Battle Pass from the old seasons and max them out too. I got Season Four and Five maxed out (as far as tiers go,) but I would love to go back and do the challenges and get the skins/umbrellas from the older seasons. Plus, this way you make more money. Everyone likes more money right?

Out of personal regret, I came up with the idea of being able to return to old battle passes. After finishing the current battle pass including max tiers, all weekly challenges, and bonus content, you should have the option of being able to return to a previously PURCHASED battle pass that was never completed. Emphasis on purchased as someone who was never around for an older season or never decided to purchase that battle pass should not be able to go back and try to complete it, as it would ruin the purpose of the season system. This would be balanced, as you would only have a few days to return to an old season (because it takes so long to complete all challenges and tiers), before the next season starts, basically encouraging the person to purchase all their old remaining tiers. Hopefully this was explained well enough, so it can seriously be a considered topic throughout the community. I would love to finally reach the black knight after only making it to the sparkle specialist! A think many people feel the same way, as Fortnite became wildly popular mid season 2, when even if the pass was purchased, there was not enough availible time to complete it. Thanks for the consideration!

I and a handful of the community have joined Fortnite in season 3, and wish completing season 2 was still an option. I personally really want Black Knight, though I can not now because I fell once season short.

I think we should be able to pay for past seasons using your current teirs. Once You used your teirs, it gets subtracted from your current amount. You receive your past teir items like buying something from the shop, or like buying teirs for your battle pass.

Maybe this can be a thing, what do you guys think.

The entire point of seasonal content is it's exclusivity to that season. If you missed it, too bad, that's all it is.

Sometimes people don’t have the opportunity to play when they purchase the battle pass. It’s not their fault that their schedule had to change, so they were not able to finish the battle pass. They’ll feel like their money has gone to waste.

Then they shouldn't have purchased the pass if they didn't think their schedule was stable enough to be able to complete it. It's not up to Epic to reimburse those who had other things to do. If you could buy old seasons battlepasses it defeats the point.

No Black Knight for season 3 newbies. All battle pass items are exclusive.

The game is not even officially out yet. A lot of gamers in the gaming community do not play games that are not officially out yet because the community has been burned so many times so many different ways by other development teams. I personally held off playing fortnite until last night then I threw up my hands and was like why not and I bought the Raven skin and the starry night glider and raven glider. I already had some $5 starter skin or w.e but anyway...my point is I said to myself idc how popular fortnite gets I'm not investing money til it is officially out because I was burned with pre-release games in the past. I'm not blaming EPIC for other people's mistakes or faults. I was a whale for EPIC's Paragon game when the Legacy map was playable and I was devastated when they took it out for that inferior map that led to the downfall of the game. I'm just saying its a fact there are gamers out there who don't play pre-release games and I'm one of em (most of the time anyway). Also I didn't know until literally an hour ago how the battle pass skins worked with unlocking variants and upgrading your skins. I want the OMEGA skin fully developed so bad but nothing in the game explained to me I had to unlock stuff in the game to develop omega skin fully. I was about to buy a battle pass just to start unlocking stuff but then I saw season 4 ends in 8 hours and I'm like oh great. Also I want the black knight skin REALLY BAD and the Leviathan skin. I want the Oblivion skin too. People have real lives and real responsibilities and cannot play the game every day. Having the skins available for such a short time is simply catering to only the hardcore people who are able to play every day. Some of us have commitments and cannot game every single day or log in to check what fortnite skin in available today. Making the skins that were available during pre-release never available again is simply unfair to the more savvy consumer. EPIC is a game company that cares about its customer base. I'm sure they want to weigh this situation as; if we make the old skins available, the hardcore people will complain and if we don't then the noobs will complain. Well...Here's what I have to say...Fortnite built its reputation on not being hardcore. Fortnite caters to a gaming demographic that isn't the hardcore gamers that played vanilla World of Warcraft. Fortnite is an everybody's video game. I'm 30 and a pretty serious gamer. Never in my life have I seen so many normies so many casual non-gamer types playing the same video game. this is not meant to be a hardcore video game. this is a game meant to include everyone. the graphics are cartoony and not as hardcore as PUBG. if they re-release some skins from a while ago...so what? other people want those skins too, man. I want the black knight skin. I didn't get it when it fist came out because I'm like I spent over $500 in Paragon and then they went and took away my legacy map from me and replaced it with a map i hated and made me stop playing and then the game blew up so I'm gonna wait and see how this Fortnite thing goes this time. It's easy to sit there and say I got the skins I want so its cooler if they're never available again and too bad if you do not have it also. but if you do not have the skin you want then of course you want it. and maybe there are people who do and do not have it and they say they do or do not care but you know what? the people who do want it are gonna appreciate the game more if they get it. the people who have it and dont want it re-released...thats not gonna really make an impact on em. pls bring back the black knight skin and other previous skins some time.

          Noooooooooo.
If they bring back all or any of the battle pass items it will **** off all the original players that worked hard to get them. Those items show how long they've being playing the game. To bring them back would get rid of that, andmake those early seasons pretty much pointless.

I'm sorry mate, but you missed out. Youre old enough to know better. It's just tuff, previous battle pass items won't come back.

I know multiple people that want skins like the black knight but they weren’t playing at that time so it would be super nice if we could buy previous battle passes (we would have to get all the tiers by doing challenges And leveling up (when you level up you choose what battle pass it goes to. I know it doesn’t make sense but whatever

That is a terrible idea, and Epic Games is 100% never bringing back old battle passes.

No way! Skins will lose their rarity and it would make upcoming seasons not exciting. Sorry to let you down but that's not happening.

What makes people think this is a valid reason?

Battlepasses are timed exclusives, if you miss 'em, you miss 'em.

Nope, given that the map has changed you wouldn’t be able to complete some of the challenges anyway. Should’ve started playing day 1 instead of bandwagoning when it got popular

Lol all you losers saying it wont happen if there is money to be made you really think greedy old epic wouldnt pull the trigger on it? Who the **** cares if somethings rare or not like honestly you guys must be oldest 12 years if thats acually a concern to you If epic did have like a season 2 package come up in the shop for like 5000 v bucks or something and you get everything that was in that pass they would make a bloody killing and thats why something like that is bound to happen maybe not for years but it will they run a business not a charity

If they allowed this they would lose a lot of players because they would be mad that people who were not there that season would get a chance to do that battle pass. Yeah it sucks I missed some battle passes too but I dont expect them to allow for me to go get those rewards. Its what you get for being loyal to their game and playing it constantly.

How exactly would bringing back old seasons lose players? I get it that they would be mad and stuff that they came back and lost exclusivity but would they quit? They have probably spent a lot of time getting stuff like that so just because a season comes back doesn't mean they would quit.

You'll have players not buying the battlepass with the mindset that it will come back near future.
