READ FIRST Before Reporting a Technical Issue

    [OFFICIAL] READ FIRST Before Reporting a Technical Issue

    • Before reporting a technical issue, be sure to visit the Community Issues Trello and Epic Games Network Status Page to be sure your issue isn't currently known
    • Report your Technical Issue in game. This is the only way we can get logs from consoles.
      • Open the game menu
        • On PC/Mac, press Esc
        • On PS4, press the touchpad
        • on XBox, press the Menu button
      • Select Feedback
      • Select Bug
      • Fill in the Subject and Body fields with your feedback
      • Select Send
    • When submitting a technical issue, please copy and paste the reporting format below in your post and fill in as much information as you can
      • Platform:
      • Game Mode (BR PVP/STW PVE):
      • PSN Name or Xbox Live Gamertag:
      • Issue:
      • Troubleshooting performed:
      • Date first encountered
      • Attach DxDiag to thread
    In order to gather system information you will need to run a DXDIAG report, follow the steps below:
    • Click on, "Start Button".
    • Click on, "Run".
    • In the pop-up window enter dxdiag and hit ok.
    • The DirectX Diagnostic Tool pop-up window should appear.
    • Click on, "Save all information".
    • Save As" window should be present.
    • Click on, "Save" (The file should be saved to your desktop as dxdiag.txt)
    • Exit the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
    • If we ask you for logs, follow these steps.
      • Exit Fortnite
      • Navigate to C:\Users\<YOUR USERNAME>\AppData\Local\FortniteGame\Saved\Logs
      • Attach all logs found there to your post.
