How to create an Epic Games account

Note: If you played Fortnite, Fall Guys, or Rocket League on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, or another platform, you may already have an Epic Games account. To keep your progress and purchases synced, complete that account instead of creating a new one.   1. Go to the Epic Games sign in page (Opens in a new tab).
  2. Select Create your account.
  3. When asked if you have played Fortnite, Fall Guys, or Rocket League, select the answer that matches your situation:
    • If you select Yes, sign in with the platform account you used to play. This helps you complete the existing Epic Games account.
    • If you select No, continue to the next step.
  4. Enter your date of birth, then select Continue.
  5. Choose how to create your account:
    • Enter an email address you can access, then select Continue.
    • Select to continue with Google, Apple, or Autodesk.

    Note: If the email or sign-in method is already linked to an Epic Games account, sign in to that account to continue.
  6. Fill in the requested details and select Continue.
  7. Enter the 6-digit security code sent to your email, then select Continue.
    • If you do not get the code, select Resend code.
    • If the email address is wrong, select change email.
  8. Choose whether to link platform accounts, such as Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo.
    • To link an account, select Link and follow the on-screen steps.
    • To skip this step or finish, select Done linking.
