How do I check the status of my account recovery?
After you submit your account recovery request, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the Epic Games team. This email includes a link to check the status of your request.
- Find the email with the subject line: Your Epic account recovery request.
- Click the Check your account recovery status link in the email.
- You’ll be taken to a page showing the current status of your request.
If you are unable to find the email:
- If you have your recovery request ID, go to check your account recovery status (Opens in a new tab) and enter the ID to view the status.
- If you don’t have your recovery ID, you will need to start a new account recovery request (Opens in a new tab).
Note: We’ll notify you of the outcome within 48 hours of receiving your account recovery request, or let you know if we need more time to investigate.
