Why don't I see my new display name on Switch in the Fortnite lobby after changing it?

If you changed your display name and it appears correctly in-game but not in the lobby, please try the following:

1. Restart the Fortnite application.
2. If the issue persists, try to restart your Nintendo Switch console by:
   1. Holding down the Power button for at least 3 seconds
   2. Select Restart from the available options.
