How do I report non-consensual intimate imagery in an Epic Games product?
Epic Games does not tolerate the posting of non-consensual intimate imagery, which violates our rules. If you believe that someone has posted a non-consensual intimate image, please report it from within the Epic Games product you are using or visit the Report Content (Opens in a new tab) page of the Epic Games Safety and Security Center and complete the following steps:
- Select the product where the image was posted from the “What product or service are you submitting a report about? *” dropdown.
- Depending on the product you selected, you may be asked to choose an option from the “What type of content are you reporting? *” dropdown and enter the relevant information in the “Where is the content located? *” text box.
- If you are reporting content using the reporting feature inside one of Epic Games’s products, these fields should automatically be populated with a Content ID or URL.
- Choose “Content or behavior that you think is illegal” under “What is the reason for the report? *”
- Choose your country from the Where are you located? * dropdown.
- Select either of the following two types of content from the What type of content or behavior are you reporting? * dropdown.
- Cyber violence
- Cyber violence against women
- Choose an option from the "Which of the below best describes the content or behavior you are reporting? *" dropdown:
- For Cyber violence, choose either:
- Non-consensual (intimate) material sharing, including (image-based) sexual abuse (excluding content depicting minors).
- Non-consensual sharing of material containing deepfake or similar technology using a third party's features (excluding content depicting minors).
- For Cyber violence against women, choose either:
- Non-consensual (intimate) material sharing, including (image-based) sexual abuse against women (excluding content depicting minors).
- Non-consensual sharing of material containing deepfake or similar technology using a third party's features against women (excluding content depicting minors).
- For Cyber violence, choose either:
- Tick the box next to the Acknowledgement text if you agree to the statement.
Note: If you are located in the United States and believe that someone has posted a non-consensual intimate image of you (or someone who has authorized you to report on their behalf) on ArtStation, Epic Developer Community, Fab, Fortnite Communities, or Sketchfab, Epic Games has a process for prompt removal of that image as required by the Take It Down Act. To report under the Take It Down Act, complete the following steps:- Select “Yes, I am the person depicted in the intimate image or I am authorized to report on their behalf.” under “Are you the person depicted in the intimate image? *”
- Complete the acknowledgments.
- Tick the box next to “Checking this box serves as my electronic signature for this report.” if you agree to the statement.
- Tick the box next to the second Acknowledgment text if you agree to the statement.
- Click Submit Report.
