I can't change my display name due to the error "Something went wrong"

If you encounter the error "Something went wrong" upon trying to change your display name, try the steps below:

1. Open an incognito tab in your current browser

2. Access the Epic Games home page here (Opens in a new tab)

3. Log in to the same Epic Games account

4. Try changing your display name
