What to do if your VAT status is "Pending in the verification process"

When setting up or updating VAT info on your Epic Games Store account, you may encounter an error message stating that "the VAT number is pending in the verification process. A business VAT receipt cannot be generated until it is verified".

How do I resolve this?

Simply refresh the page and attempt to update your VAT info once more. If the issue persists please try clearing your browser's cache or attempt to update your VAT information on another device.
