Why is my tournament rank different from my competitive rank on Rocket League?

Rocket League uses a separate ranking system for tournaments, different from regular competitive playlists like Rumble, 2v2, or 3v3. Your tournament rank starts with your Competitive Playoffs rank and then changes each season based on how you perform. It’s separate from your other competitive ranks and moves up or down as you win or lose tournament games.
