Why was Player-to-player trading removed in Rocket League?

Player-to-player trading was removed from Rocket League on December, 2023.

What still works:
The in-game trade-in system remains available. You can trade in five items of the same rarity to receive a random item of the next rarity tier. For details, refer to What is the trade-in feature in Rocket League?

There are currently no plans to reintroduce player-to-player trading.
