Traps for summoning Defenders and blueprints no longer in Fortnite Save The World

With the new Save the World free-to-play announcement, there are some changes, such as how Defenders are used.

Instead of guarding the area around Defender Posts and using traps, your Defenders will now follow you into battle. They no longer use ammo, and their weapons no longer lose durability. They can also revive you or your teammates if you go down.

You can equip up to three Defenders in your hero loadout, and they’ll automatically deploy with their default weapons when the Mission starts. If you’re tackling a Mission alone, up to three equipped Defenders can join you. In group play, each team member can bring one Defender, with empty slots filled by other players’ equipped Defenders.

You can direct them with commands and pings, making them particularly effective in solo play while still scaling fairly in larger teams. Choose from Riflemen, Gunslingers, Bruisers, Shotgunners and Snipers to best match your playstyle.
