How do I troubleshoot microphone issues in Fortnite Festival Main Stage?

If you are experiencing issues with the game recognizing your vocal input, please take a look at the troubleshooting steps below.

Mic Sensitivity

  1. Open Settings
  2. Navigate to the Game tab
  3. Scroll down and find Festival
  4. Use the Mic Sensitivity slider to adjust your microphone sensitivity

If the game still doesn’t register your vocal input, make sure that your system-level microphone sensitivity is correctly set:

Mic Vocals Offset

Wireless headsets and microphones might introduce additional latency. If you feel that your microphone is out of sync, you can adjust the Mic Vocals offset.

  1. Open Settings
  2. Navigate to the Game tab
  3. Scroll down and find Festival
  4. Use the Mic Offset slider to find a value that is appropriate for your setup
Note: Adding an additional 60ms offset is a good starting point for Bluetooth devices. Non-Bluetooth wireless setups may require less of an offset

Windows Audio Enhancement Setting
