How do I install Fortnite on iOS or iPadOS?

iPhone and iPad users can download and play Fortnite through the App Store, Epic Games Store Mobile app, AltStore PAL or use Cloud Streaming. 

App Store

You can download Fortnite from the App Store here (Opens in a new tab). (Not available in Australia, see more information here (Opens in a new tab).)

Epic Games Store app

The Epic Games Store app is currently available on iPhone and iPad in the European Union, and on iPhone in Japan.

To install Fortnite, follow these steps: 

  1. Install the Epic Games Store app by following the steps in How do I install the Epic Games Store on iOS or iPadOS?
  2. Open the Epic Games Store from your home screen.
  3. Select Fortnite.
  4. Tap Get to install Fortnite.

AltStore PAL

Users located in the European Union or Japan can install Fortnite through AltStore PAL using the steps below:

  1. Download AltStore PAL from AltStore.io (Opens in a new tab).
  2. Refer to the AltStore Downloads page (Opens in a new tab) for installation steps.
  3. Select Fortnite in AltStore PAL.
  4. Tap Free to begin installation.

Cloud Streaming

You can play Fortnite using cloud gaming services, which let you access the game on devices like phones and computers without downloading it, as long as you have a stable internet connection and are in a supported region.
