Audio randomly stops working in Fortnite when it was working fine before

Sometimes your device will set the audio output device setting to use the incorrect device.

Follow the steps below to resolve this issue:

1. Launch Fortnite

2. Go to Settings

3. Go to the Audio tab

4. Check your Audio Output Device to make sure it is set to the correct one. 

   If you see two of the same options, but one of them begins with “Default output,” select the device that does not start with “Default output.”
