Unable to play Fortnite replays from a previous update

The Replay system in Fortnite allows you to review your past games. This can be a very useful tool for players who want to study their gameplay, make content, and more! Replays can be found under the Career tab in the Fortnite lobby.

Here are the main things you need to know that may prohibit you from accessing your replays in Fortnite:

  • This feature is not available for Fortnite: Save the World.
  • This feature is available for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
  • You can only playback items in the version of Fortnite in which they were recorded. After a new update, old replays will no longer be valid unless they were saved.
    • To save a replay,  select it in the replay browser and rename it
  • On PlayStation and Xbox, you can save a total of 10 replays. On PC, this number is unlimited.
  • A replay file that lasts the entire match is about 10MB in size.

Note: You can turn the Replay feature on/off from your Settings, by going to the GAME tab and scrolling all the way down to the REPLAYS settings group.
