Why is the Visualize Sound Effects option not working in Fortnite?

We're aware of an issue causing the Visualize Sound Effects option to appear glitchy or not work at all in Fortnite. This can also impact other visual effects like hit markers or the "Weak points" effect, and we're currently investigating this further.

As a temporary workaround, please try changing your Rendering Mode to Performance mode.
