I am receiving a “Your account is ineligible for this event” message on my requirements eligibility check

If you were recently unbanned from Fortnite but still can't join tournaments, this is expected.

Players who cheated in competitive events receive a permanent lifetime ban from tournaments, even after the one-year matchmaking ban ends. Accounts with a prior competitive ban of 14 days or longer may also be ineligible for select tournaments - eligibility varies by event.
