Locked icon and competitive access issue, even when requirements are met in Fortnite

If you meet the tournament requirements, you see a lock icon and you are still getting the error message that the tournament is disabled, you can try the following workarounds:

1. Play a match in Ranked mode for the points to be refreshed.
2. Join the Competitive Event from the Compete tab that appears at the top of the Fortnite Lobby
3. Join the Competitive Event from the By Epic section under the Discovery selector.

Note: If the tournament is in duos, trios or squads make sure that the whole team also meets all the tournament requirements and don't try to join the Competitive Event from the Competitive section under the Discovery selector.
