Can I use my Microsoft Store Balance in Fortnite without an Xbox?

If you have an available balance in your Microsoft Store account, but you don't have an Xbox, there's currently two ways to purchase V-Bucks. 

Before you make the purchase, make sure that you connect the correct Xbox account to your Epic Games account.

You can make a direct purchase from the Xbox website by following the steps below:

1. Go to Xbox Store, Add-ons, V-Bucks (Opens in a new tab) page.
2. Select the offer you want to purchase.
3. Click the green Buy button.
4. If you aren't already logged in to your Xbox account, you will be prompted to log in.
5. Choose your payment method and complete the purchase.
6. Go to the Xbox Cloud Gaming (Opens in a new tab) page.
7. Search for Fortnite and click the green Play button, in order to update the V-Bucks balance.

You can also make the purchase in-game while using the Xbox Cloud Gaming by following these steps:

1. Go to the Xbox Cloud Gaming (Opens in a new tab) page.
2. Search for Fortnite and click the green Play button.
3. Click the V-Bucks icon.
4. Select the offer you want to purchase.
5. Hold the yellow Purchase button.
6. You'll be redirected to the Xbox website. 
7. Click the green Purchase button.
8. Choose your payment method and complete the purchase.
9. Go back into the game, in order to update the V-Bucks balance.
