How do I install the Epic Games Store on iOS or iPadOS?

The Epic Games Store app is currently available in the European Union and Japan for iOS users.
Note: Epic Games Store Mobile (EGSM) is currently not available on iPad in Japan.

Install on iOS or iPadOS version 26.2 and above

  1. On your iOS or iPadOS device, go to epicgames.com (Opens in a new tab).
  2. Follow the prompts to start installation. A message will appear stating that your device is not yet set up to allow marketplaces by Epic Games.
  3. Open your phone's Settings.
  4. Select Allow Apps from Epic Games Inc.
  5. Tap Allow to continue.
    Note: You will be prompted to install the marketplace.
  6. Double-press the side button to confirm installation.

Install on iOS or iPadOS version 18.6 and above

  1. On your iOS or iPadOS device, go to epicgames.com (Opens in a new tab).
  2. Select the Install button in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap Confirm to complete the installation.

Install on iOS or iPadOS version below 18.6

Note: The minimum version requirements are as follows

  • iOS 17.6 or higher in the European Union
  • iOS 26.2 or higher in Japan
  • iPadOS 18 or higher
  1. On your iOS or iPadOS device, go to epicgames.com (Opens in a new tab).
  2. Select the Install button in the top-right corner.
  3. When the Marketplace Installation message appears, tap OK.
  4. Open the Settings app.
  5. Select Allow Marketplace from Epic Games.
  6. Tap Allow to confirm the change.
  7. Return to your browser.
  8. Select Install, then choose Install App Marketplace.
  9. Tap Confirm to finish installation.
  10. Go to your home screen to locate the Epic Games Store app.
