Epic Games Store Download Manager
This feature grants you control over your downloads and updates on PC and Mac. You can:
Prioritize which game titles get updated first.
- From the library select 3 dots next to your game.
Note: Alternatively you can do the same from the Download Manager if you recently updated your game. - Select Manage.
- Toggle Priority Downloads.
Set download speed limits for fresh installs and updates.
- Open the Download Manager from the bottom left corner.
- Select Download Settings.
- Under Download Speed select Limit download speeds
Configure if games can updated while playing.
- Open the Download Manager from the bottom left corner.
- Select Download Settings.
- Under General, toggle Allow Installs during gameplay.
Schedule updating time.
- Open the Download Manager from the bottom left corner.
- Select Download Settings.
- Under Automatic Updates select Schedule automatic updates.
Set notifications for completed downloads.
- Open the Download Manager from the bottom left corner.
- Select Download Settings.
- Under General, toggle Notify me when an installation is complete.
Drag and drop reordering of priority when downloading multiple titles
- Open the Download Manager from the bottom left corner.
- Under Overview click and hold on a title, then drag it to a higher or lower position in the list.
Easily change the default installation directory.
- Open the Download Manager from the bottom left corner.
- Select Download Settings.
- Under General select Change to update the Default Install Directory.
See improved information about the current download status.
- Open the Download Manager from the bottom left corner.
- Under Overview, you can see the current Active or recent downloads.
View a history of your downloads.
- Open the Download Manager from the bottom left corner.
- Under Overview you can see what was recently updated or downloaded in the past 14 days.
