How do I troubleshoot Android Login issues?
If you are having issues logging in on an Android device, first make sure that your device meets the minimum requirements. You can find system requirements here: What are the system requirements for the Epic Games Store on mobile?
Note: To check your system specifications, please see: How do I check the specifications of my Android device? If the Epic Games Store app shows an error saying your device isn't supported, it means your device doesn't meet the minimum requirements.
If your device meets the minimum requirements, here are some troubleshooting steps that often fix common problems with the Epic Games Store App.
Check Latest Version
Make sure your device and the Epic Games Store app are up-to-date.
Check if Family Link is enabled
The Epic Games Store App may be blocked when Family Link is enabled. Make sure Epic Games Store is not blocked by it and that Family Link is turned off for the log in process.
- Open Parental Controls on the child's device.
- Open the Blocked Apps list.
- If found, select Epic Games Store.
- Enter your password to unblock the app.
Check your internet connection
For a smooth experience, a reliable network connection with a strong signal is important. Try switching your connection to a different and more stable Wi-Fi network, or a solid 4G/5G Mobile Data. In case you are using any VPN or hosting services - turn them off and try again.
Update the default browser
Slow loading times, crashes, errors or compatibility issues may be related to issues with your current mobile browser. Try setting a different default browser for your device and make sure it is updated to the latest version.
