Why can't I launch Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord?

We have identified an issue with Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord not launching from the Epic Games Library after the newest game update. This is being investigated. 

In the meantime, make sure you launch the game from the Epic Games launcher rather than directly from your directory.

If the game continues to crash from the Epic Games launcher, check if your Windows selects the embedded GPU for the application. You can change which graphics card an app uses by going to Settings > System > Display > Graphics settings. Here you should add a desktop app "bin\Win64_Shipping_Client\TaleWorlds.MountAndBlade.Launcher", then click Options, and choose High performance (dedicated GPU).
