Launcher Update Required notification in the Epic Games Launcher

If a notification appears that an Epic Games Launcher Update is required, download & install the update:

  1. Click the Settings Icon in the top right corner of the Launcher next to your profile.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. If there is a RESTART AND UPDATE button, select it to update the Launcher.

You may need to accept a User Access Control (UAC) prompt. Refer to Why am I getting a Windows security prompt when updating or installing the Epic Games Launcher?
