How to fix the "Please wait while we install/open the partner application" error when installing/starting an EA game.

If you're receiving this error when you try to install an EA game, please try the following steps:

1. Open the Task Manager.

2. Look for EA Background Service.

3. Click End task.

4. Open the Epic Games Launcher.

5. Start the EA game you wanted.

6. A menu from EA Play will pop up to ask you to link your accounts

7. Link your account.

The game should install/launch automatically.
