How to fix CAPTCHA issues when trying to make a purchase from the Epic Games Store

We are aware of an issue where players trying to make a purchase on the Epic Games Store are receiving the error "Failed to challenge captcha, please try again later." To try and resolve the issue, follow these steps: 

1. Use incognito mode in your browser
2. Clear the Epic Games Launcher cache: How do I clear the Launcher cache on PC?
3. Turn off VPN or hosting services if active
4. Switch to a different internet connection, like a mobile hotspot or data
5. Delete your browser cookies
6. Use a browser instead of the app: Log in to your Epic Games account through a browser and make the purchase there
7. Use the troubleshooting instructions described in How to fix CAPTCHA issues when logging into your Epic Games account. 
8. If the issue persists, try purchasing/redeeming the game again at a later time.
