Launcher Update Required when trying to launch a Ubisoft game

We have recently streamlined the install experience for Ubisoft titles in the Epic Games Launcher.  Existing Ubisoft titles will continue to work with older launcher clients but new Ubisoft titles coming to the Epic Games Store will require an updated launcher client, version 16.5.1 or newer.

If you are presented with a dialog box that states "Launcher Update Required", the Ubisoft title you are trying to install requires a newer version of the Epic Games Launcher.  To make this change:

1. Open the Epic Games Launcher
2. Click the Open Settings button in the dialog, or click your profile icon in the top right corner of the Launcher and select Settings option.
3. When an update is ready to apply, you’ll see a RESTART AND UPDATE button in the settings.  Selecting it will apply the update and restart your launcher client.
