I'm getting a "too many requests, please try again later" error when trying to recover my account or change my email address

This error appears when too many attempts have been made in a short period of time. It's a security measure to protect your account.

Try the following:

• Open a private or incognito browser window and try again
• Try a different web browser or device
• Wait 24 hours and try again

If you have recently submitted multiple account recovery requests, you may need to wait a few days before trying again.

This error cannot be cleared by Epic Games Support - it will reset automatically.
