I have not received a response to my account recovery request

Account recovery requests take up to 48 hours to process. The response is sent to the new email address you provided when submitting your recovery request - not the email address on the account you are trying to recover.

If you have not received a response after more than 48 hours:

  1. Check the spam or junk folder of the email address you used when submitting the recovery request.
  2. Check the status of your request directly here https://www.epicgames.com/help/recovery-status-check/ (Opens in a new tab) using your recovery ID.

Note: Do not submit a new recovery request or a support ticket asking for a status update. Neither will speed up the process. Use the status check page above to track your request.
