Why do I receive reminders to enable 2FA?

You may receive reminders about enabling 2FA because it is a security best practice to have 2FA enabled.  It is a good idea to enable 2FA for multiple reasons:

• Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) is a valuable way to protect your account from unauthorized access.
• It’s also a good way to help verify your identity and quickly confirm it’s you when making security-related changes to your account. 
• Two-factor authentication can also be used to help recover your account. The more methods of authentication you have, the more likely we can help you recover your account if you lose access to it.
