Update the Epic Games Launcher

Update the version for the Epic Games Launcher

  1. Open the Epic Games Launcher.

  2. Navigate to the Settings Icon in the top right corner next to your profile.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. If RESTART AND UPDATE appears, select it to update the Launcher.

    You may need to accept a User Access Control (UAC) prompt. Refer to Why am I getting a Windows security prompt when updating or installing the Epic Games Launcher?

Check the version in the Epic Games Launcher Early Preview

  1. In the top left corner, click on the Epic Games Logo.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Select About section.

  4. To verify if the launcher is up-to-date, click Check now next to Version.
