Can the Epic Games Launcher Preview detect previously installed games?

The Epic Games Launcher Preview supports detecting previously installed game files.

If you have installed a game, but the launcher still doesn't detect it, follow the steps below in order to resolve this issue:

Caution:
If you are using the Legacy Epic Games Launcher and not the Preview version, please keep in mind that this feature is not supported there. Refer to Can the Epic Games Launcher detect previously installed games?

  1. Open the Epic Games Launcher Preview.

  2. In the upper left corner, click on the Epic Games icon.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Click on the Library section.

  5. Click on Scan for installed games.
