I'm missing an item from my Fortnite Locker
To understand why an item may be missing from your Fortnite locker, start by searching the cosmetic item's name in the Epic Games Support Help Desk. Look out for potential live issues and corresponding article solutions.
If there are no articles addressing your specific situation, check the information below and identify your scenario:
If all of your items and progress are missing, refer to I was reset to Level 1 and my progress is gone. Was my account deleted?
If you mainly play on a console, and all of your cosmetic items are missing - confirm your platform is still connected to your Epic Games account. Refer to How do I get my Fortnite, Fall Guys, or Rocket League progress to sync across all of my devices?
If your items and progress are different depending on which platform you are playing on - refer to What do I do if I followed the instructions to get my progress to sync across my devices, but the sync did not occur as expected?
Make sure you are looking at the correct Fortnite locker.
If you have multiple Epic Games accounts, confirm you are signed in to the account where the item was purchased, regardless if the cosmetics were purchased with real money and V-bucks.
If you recently purchased a bundle through a specific platform store, you must log into Fortnite through the same platform you purchased the bundle to trigger the redemption and receive it.
For Battle Pass Bonus rewards you expect to receive after leveling up, refer to Why am I not receiving my Battle Pass Bonus rewards after leveling up?
If you received a message in Fortnite that an item or V-Bucks were removed from your account, refer to: Why was an item removed from my account in Fortnite? This includes scenarios in which you are missing an item you originally received as an in-game gift.
If you did not receive a removal message, search through your locker for the missing item using the steps below.
Go to your Locker.
Navigate to the item type you are looking for (outfit, back bling, pickaxe, etc.).
On the top right, click Sort and Filter and confirm no filters are active. Click Apply.
The Heart Icon that appears right next to the Search Bar is also a filter that allows you to view only your favorite items. Make sure the icon is not filled. If it is, press the icon to remove the favorite items filter.
If you still cannot find the item, filter by Archived. Items you previously hid in your locker will appear here. For more details on the archive feature and how to unarchive them, refer to What is the Archive feature in Fortnite and how does it work?
