How do I change my matchmaking region in Fortnite?

To change the service region you are using for matchmaking, follow these steps:

1. Select your player icon in the upper right corner to open the social panel.
2. Select Settings (gear icon).
3. Select the Game tab.
4. In the Language and Region section, locate Matchmaking Region, then click the arrow to select a new region.
   • Auto - Selects the region with the best ping.
   • (##ms) - The numbers display your ping to the servers in the selected region. The lower the ping, the faster the connection.
5. Click Apply.

We recommend using Auto for the best connection. However, if you're still experiencing latency issues, you can try alternative servers to find which one offers you the best connection.
