Engagement Payout Estimator FAQ

  • Why can’t I access estimations for my project?
    • Just like the rest of the monetization tab, these are only accessible by the owner of the project.
    • You have to be part eligible to engagement payouts and signed up for the Fortnite Developer Program.
  • Why am I not seeing any estimates for today/yesterday/previous days?
    • You have to be signed up to the Fortnite Developer Program and eligible to receive engagement payouts. 
    • If you just published your island, you’ll be able to see estimates starting the next day.
    • If your island has not received more than $0.01 worth of payouts on a specific day, you will not see any data reflected in the estimates. 
    • If you have received a monetization ban, you may not see any data reflected in the estimates for those days.
    • If you have transferred ownership of the island, you will not see data reflected in the estimated or received payouts for the days you were not the island owner.
  • My estimates said $xyz but I’ve actually received $abc. What gives?
    • While we strive to give as accurate of an estimate as possible, these are still just estimates and are subject to change. Multiple factors can make estimations inaccurate, so these estimates should be treated as such. More recent days usually carry more variance and uncertainty, whereas days further in the month are usually more accurate.
