How to fix the vpath_collision error when publishing a Fortnite island

If you see the following error when publishing your island:

errors.com.epicgames.creator-portal-backend.vpath_collision

The error details may also include:

Verse path (map path) is already associated with another project

Why this happens

This error appears when you try to publish an island using a name that is already associated with another project.

Each island must have a unique Verse path (map path). If another project is already using that path, publishing will fail.

Change the island name to something unique and try publishing again.

Note: The new name must not match any existing published project name associated with a Verse path.
