How to troubleshoot slow download speed on Epic Games Launcher

If you're experiencing download speeds that are slower than expected, try the following troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue:

  1. Check the Epic Games Status page (Åbnes i en ny fane) to verify that our servers are up and running
  2. Use a wired Ethernet connection instead of Wi-Fi
  3. Try using a different internet connection (if applicable)
  4. Clear device cache. Refer to How do I clear or reset my device's cache?
  5. Make sure that the download speed limit is off. Refer to How do I turn off download speed limit in Epic Games Launcher?
  6. Make sure that all of the domains are whitelisted. Refer to Which domains need to be whitelisted to reach the Epic servers?
