Alan Wake Remastered does not launch on PC

If you are having issues with launching Alan Wake Remastered, try the steps below to force the game to open in Windowed mode instead of Fullscreen:

1. On the taskbar, in the search field, input the following, and then press Enter:
   • %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Remedy\AlanWakeRemastered
2. Open the resolution.xml file using Notepad.
3. Next to the Window Value option, change the 0 to a 1
4. Save the file
5. Relaunch the game
