How to enable Anti-Aliasing or Super Resolution in Fortnite on PC?

If you are seeing jagged edges or stair-stepped lines around objects in the game, turning on Anti-Aliasing or a Super Resolution method can help with image quality. Anti-Aliasing smooths jagged edges and can stabilize the image under motion. Super Resolution methods do the same while additionally improving performance by rendering fewer pixels each frame to generate the same resolution output image.

Depending on your hardware and available settings, you can choose from technologies such as TSR, NVIDIA DLSS, Intel XeSS, FXAA, SMAA or TAA. AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) is not currently available as an in-game option in Fortnite. If you want to enable NVIDIA DLSS, first, make sure:

• Your NVIDIA GPU supports DLSS
  Note: Check NVIDIA's DLSS site (Opens in a new tab) to verify this
• You're using the most updated Windows version
• Your GeForce Game Ready driver is up to date
• Fortnite is up to date 

1. Open Fortnite.
2. Click the Menu Icon in top-right corner.
3. Click on the Cog Icon. This will open the settings menu.
4. In the Video tab, change Rendering Mode to DirectX 12.
   Note: If not already enabled, restart the game, then return to the settings tab.
5. Scroll down to Anti-Aliasing & Super Resolution and choose the desired option.
6. If the selected method provides a Temporal Resolution setting or a quality mode that affects 3D Resolution, adjust the available option according to your preference.
