Why am I getting the Fortnite error, Data is corrupted, please delete the game from your console and redownload, on PlayStation?

If you see the error message “Data is corrupted, please delete the game from your console and redownload” while launching Fortnite on PlayStation, delete Fortnite from your console and reinstall it.

Note: Some players have resolved this error without reinstalling by rebuilding the PlayStation database in Safe Mode.
