The game crashed due to a graphics card (GPU) fault and will now exit error in Alan Wake 2

If you receive this error, try the following troubleshooting steps to fix the issue:

1. Go to the folder where you installed Alan Wake 2
   • If you aren't sure where you installed the game, open the Epic Games Launcher library and go to Alan Wake 2 tile. Click the three dots next to the tile, click Manage, and then click the folder icon next to Installation to open the install location.
2. In the game folder, right-click AlanWake2.exe
3. Click Settings
4. Go to the Compatibility tab
5. Check the box to disable full-screen optimizations, and then click Apply and close the window
6. Relaunch the game
