To refund your eligible Epic Games Store purchase, follow the Self-Service refund steps below. For eligibility requirements see the Epic Games Store Refund Policy.
Click here to start the refund process, then follow the steps below.
- Find the order you would like to refund in your purchase history.
- Click the game title to expand the order. Games that are eligible for refund will display the Request Refund option and a checkbox in front of each title.
- Tick the checkbox before the title you would like to refund, then click the Request Refund button.
Note: If there is not a Request Refund option, the order is not eligible for a self-service refund. - Select the reason for the refund in the pop-up window.
- By default, refunds are sent to the original payment method, but this may not always be possible depending on what payment method you used. Some regions also support the option to refund back to Epic Wallet.
Note: See the Wallet FAQ to know where the option is available, and see the Wallet Terms for more details. - Click Confirm Refund.
- You will receive a confirmation notice at the bottom of your screen letting you know the refund has been completed. Please contact your payment provider or bank for more information about when your refund will be available to you.
If your purchase is within our Refund Policy but you are unable to refund it, please contact Player Support.
