Why do I get the error "The client that sent you here did not pass the parameters error"?

When attempting to connect, you might see the error message: “Sorry, the client that sent you here did not pass the parameters needed for you to login.”

If you encounter this issue, you can try the following steps troubleshoot the issue:

1. Clear the Epic Games Launcher cache: How do I clear the Launcher cache on PC?
2. If you haven't already, disable any VPN or Proxy service you may be using
3. If the above did not work, and you are still experiencing issues this problem may be related to your current internet service provider (ISP). Consider switching your connection, for example, from Wi-Fi to mobile a hotspot (if you use a different provider on your mobile device) or a different home or work connection. 
   • You may want to contact your current ISP for further assistance if the issue persists.
